Summer 2007 Trip

We had limited time for travelling in the Summer of 2007. We had made a short trip early in the summer to Lake Isabella and the Kern River area. The highlight of that trip had to be the trail of the 100 Giants - a grove of Sequoias at about 7300'.

In August we had about three weeks to travel and originally intended to visit our property in Dubois, WY. We headed north through Utah and into Idaho and wound up in the Island Park, Idaho area at a wonderful campground near Henry's Lake called Redrock Camping and RV Park. We enjoyed the area so much, and it was so close to Yellowstone N.P. that we never made it any further! That's the beauty of RV camping, you are not necessarily tied to a fixed schedule, and you can always find a place to hang your hat.
