Thank you for attending these Classes!

I want to start by thanking all of you for taking your time to attend our classes. I hope that this simple website will assist you in following along with the material presented in class and on occasion elaborate on certain important subjects. Material will be continuously added throughout the course of the next three weeks for the classes I will be teaching.

Using VMWare

All of the classes that I will be teaching this summer will use Virtual machines. We have installed VMWare Workstation in our North City Center Room 234 computer lab, and several Guest Operating systems have been installed under this application. Please see the link in the "Introduction to IIS" Section below if you have not used VMWare in NCC 234.

Introduction to IIS (June 13-16 2011)

Richard Gholson's notes (June 13 2011)

Windows 7  (June 20-23 2011)

Fedora 14  (June 27-30 2011)

When I checked the Fedora website I found that Fedora 15 has now been released. One of the major changes is the Gnome desktop. This latest version implements Gnome 3. This gives the desktop a completely new look. While we will not be covering it in class, you can find lots of documentation, examples, videos, etc on the Gnome website at:
